Do you wish you could stop certain sexual behaviors that are negatively affecting your health, job, relationships, or other areas of your life?
Therapy can help you regain a sense of choice and find a path towards greater authenticity and fulfillment. People with out-of-control sexual behavior (OCSB) often feel isolated and alone. We work with people to help them find their way back to connection with themselves and others. We work with people who have a wide range of sexual difficulties. Therapy can help.

At The SAT Project we are committed to providing education and training about sexuality, attachment, and trauma-related issues.
We understand the importance of providing clinicians with guidance, education, and feedback. Throughout the year we invite specialists in the field to present both full and half-day workshops designed to broaden perspectives. Tickets are usually available for purchase on this site six weeks prior to event date. The SAT Project is certified by the New York State Department of Education to provide continuing education credits for Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Mental Health Workers, and Psychoanalysts. In addition to continuing education, we are also available to provide clinical supervision for treatment professionals.

In the past few years, news reports about out-of-control and abusive sexual behavior in the workplace have increased significantly.
At The SAT Project we understand these are not new problems. Part of maintaining a culture that attracts and retains the best employees involves promoting a safe and congenial workplace environment. We work with HR managers to help employers develop and implement policies around sexual harassment through employee training workshops. If necessary, we can provide workplace interventions as well.
The SAT Project also lends support to medical professionals who may need help recognizing compulsive sexual behavior in their patients. If you are unclear about how to approach patients struggling with these challenges we’re available for consultation and to provide referrals. |
