At The SAT Project we provide opportunities for people dealing with similar issues to share with one another in a group setting. It's a powerful experience to talk openly with others about sexual and relationship challenges. Additionally, people often replicate the dynamics they face in their daily life in group therapy. By providing a venue in which you can identify and consider your patterns without shame or judgment, but instead with insight and caring, it's possible to evolve past recurring patterns and live a happier, more fulfilling life. We currently have three therapy groups:
"Straight Men's Intimacy Enhancement Group" - This group is focused on men who identify as heterosexual and struggle with Out-of-Control Sexual Behavior. This group meets every Monday from 5:00PM - 6:30PM at 333 West 57th Street and the group facilitator is Dr. Michael Crocker. "Gay Men's Intimacy Enhancement Group" - This group is focused on men who identify as LGBTQ and struggle with Cross Addiction (OCSB mixed with other addictions). This group meets every Monday from 7:00PM - 8:30PM at 333 West 57th Street and the group facilitator is Dr. Michael Crocker.
"Better Boundaries, Better Relationships" - This group is focused on anyone who struggles with codependency and is especially helpful for people in relationships with addicts and people raised in families affected by addiction, where codependency is common. This group will meet every Friday from 11:00AM - 12:15PM at our satellite office in Montclair, NJ and the group facilitator is Kelly Moylan.
