Patients come to us for sexual compulsivity, hypersexual behavior, sexual dysfunction, intimacy anxiety, LGBTQ issues, childhood sexual abuse as well as depression and anxiety. We also help with gender and orientation confusion, problematic and disturbing sexual thoughts and fantasies, and the PTSD symptoms of abuse survivors.
If you are the partner or spouse of someone struggling with compulsive sexual behavior it's important for you to get support as well. The Sexuality, Attachment, and Trauma Project provides help for partners through individual, couples, and/or group therapy.
Joining a therapy group is a great way to discover that all that stuff you’ve been struggling with alone in your head is actually going on in a lot of other people’s heads as well. We provide identity-affirming group therapy on a range of topics.
